For instance, you might think, “I can’t do it,” or “I’m too old to start.” or “I’m not smart enough!” “There are so many others better than me!”

  2. Challenge Negative Thoughts: Once you become aware of your inner dialogue, we can challenge it. I might ask questions like, “Is this belief true?” or “What evidence do I have that confirms this thought?”
  3. Reframe Your Beliefs: Transform negative self-talk into positive affirmations. Instead of thinking, “I’m too stupid to succeed,” reframe it to, “I have the ability to learn and grow.
    This shift can empower you to take action rather than retreat into self-sabotage.
  4. Practice Mindfulness: Incorporating practices like positive affirmations, guided meditation, or journaling can help you stay present and observe your thoughts without judgment. This awareness is crucial for breaking the cycle of unconscious patterns.
