The Wheel is made up of 8 key areas that are essential for a whole, balanced life.

By rating your satisfaction in each area on a scale from 1 to 10, you can then map these scores onto an image of a wheel. This gives you an immediate, visual snapshot of your “life balance,” helping you see which areas are flourishing and which may need more attention.

How to Use the Wheel of Life

  1. Clarify Your Values
    Start by noting down your values. These are the principles that guide your decisions and shape your life.
    When you have a clear sense of what’s important to you, it will provide a solid foundation for assessing each area of your life.
  2. Rate Your Satisfaction
    After clarifying your values, rate your satisfaction in each of the 8 key areas of life on a scale from 1 to 10. A score of 10 means you’re completely satisfied, and a 1 indicates dissatisfaction.
    Be honest with yourself to get a clear picture of your current life balance.
  3. Identify Your Needs
    For areas with lower satisfaction scores, consider what you need in those areas to feel more fulfilled. What actions or changes can you make to bring those areas into greater alignment with your values?
  4. Set Goals
    Use the insights you’ve gained to set specific, actionable goals aimed at increasing satisfaction and bringing more alignment between your current life and a more balanced life.

By using the Wheel of Life you’ll gain clarity on where you’re thriving and where you may need to shift focus, ultimately helping you create a more balanced, purposeful, and fulfilling life.
